Special Requests:
All special requests with regards to scheduling need to be included in the comments section of the league application. Some typical requests may include:
- Byes for travel - the league allows teams to miss 1 weekend of games for travel to off-island soccer tournaments. You MUST identify the event and dates in the "Comments" section of your application to guarantee this bye in the schedule.
- Other Requests - Please note that all special requests that do not include justification are ignored during scheduling. Many of these requests in the past have attempted to artificially manufacture a preferential schedule. If you have a request, please do include it (along with appropriate justification) in the comments and, if possible, it will be accommodated.
- Coaching more than 1 team - Requests to not schedule games at the same time because the same coach has multiple teams are not really necessary. During scheduling, within reason, every attempt is made to not have a coach with 2 games at the same time. Unfortunately, since a number of coaches have many teams (I've seen coaches with up to 12 teams) it is not always possible or reasonable to not have a coach with multiple games at the same time. Please note that your team MUST be activated in the system prior to the creation of the schedule for consideration to be given.
- Players on more than 1 team - Requests to not schedule games at the same time because the same players are on more than 1 team are generally not accommodated.
